South Bar and Pizza

Dunedin, NZ

An old taxi headquarters was transformed to a state of the art night club. The textures of the existing brick walls and concrete floors were overlaid with new, robust insertions and low lighting in a series of connected new spaces; pizza Bar, courtyard, dance bar and cocktail bar, each reflecting a different character.

The materials and the discreet nooks were combined to create a warm, inviting interior; a sanctuary from the chilly Dunedin climate.
